They thought it was just a college fashion show. I saw a Gucci runway.
No fancy venue. No major fashion execs in the crowd. Just raw energy, untapped confidence, and a dream so big it couldn’t be boxed in. When I stepped onto that campus stage, I didn’t just walk—I transformed. And I wasn’t alone. I turned my peers into models, the hallways into runways, and the student showcase into a moment that screamed: “High fashion is HERE.”
School Show Turned Into Style of Revolution
Gucci isn’t just a luxury brand—it’s a language of power, art, and individuality. It’s where fashion meets rebellion. It’s glam with grit. History with edge. Every collection tells a story, and every campaign dares to ask, “What if?”
That’s why it speaks to me.
Gucci represents freedom, fearlessness, and creative leadership. It doesn’t play by trends—it sets them. Just like I aspire to do, not only as a model but as a future creative director and campaign leader. I see myself not just wearing Gucci—I see myself shaping it.
Dream Big, Think Bigger, The Blueprint is Already Written
Modeling isn’t just posing in nice clothes. It’s performance. It’s power. It’s communication without words.
When I walk, I walk with intention. With a vision so expansive it scares me sometimes—but in the best way. I don’t just dream of being the face of Gucci—I want to lead the brand creatively. Campaigns. Concepts. Castings. Direction. I see the colors. I hear the music. I feel the narrative before it hits the sketchpad.
My creativity doesn’t fit in a template. It’s limitless, just like Gucci’s spirit.
From Students to Supermodels—How I Built a Runway Army
The moment I stepped into the college fashion show world, I knew I had more to give than just a walk. I had a mission: elevate everyone around me. I taught my peers what it means to not just wear the clothes—but to become them.
We practiced posture. We studied presence. We built confidence like armor. And I watched my fellow students transform—each one walking like they just signed with a Milan agency. Every strut said, “I am bold. I am unique. I am worthy.” And that’s exactly the energy Gucci embraces.

Representation, Leadership, Legacy and Leading with Vision
As a young Black creative, I know what it means to walk into spaces where people don’t expect to see you—and then completely take over. I’m not just building a modeling portfolio—I’m building a legacy of leadership, expression, and liberation.
I want to open doors for more artists like me. More models who dare to color outside the lines. More creators who see fashion as both resistance and renaissance. Gucci, if you’re reading this—I’m not just coming for a campaign. I’m coming with ideas, vision, voice, and volume.
I see museum exhibits. I see runway moments that turn into cultural shifts. I see a new wave of models walking tall because they saw someone like me do it first. I’m desiring building something that lives beyond the shows. And Gucci? You’re the perfect home for it.
This Runway Was A Preview, The Real Show Is Coming
This started on a college campus. But in my mind, it was already Milan, Paris, Florence. Because that’s what dreamers do. We see it before the world does.
And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:
You don’t wait for permission to be iconic.
You show up, walk like it’s Gucci, and make them believe it, too.
This was beautifully well written, Thank you for having me be apart of something so special that resonates with you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
