Ashley Yodele Isn’t Just in the Room — She’s Building the Whole Stage

In a sea of “media girls” and music industry hopefuls, Ashley Yodele Pineda is something else entirely. She’s not chasing clout. She’s not trying to be the next big thing. She’s already building the next five big things — one strategy session, content shoot, and artist career at a time.

If you’re not already familiar with Ashley, that’s okay. She’s probably behind the scenes of a campaign you double-tapped last week or quietly negotiating a contract that’s going to change some up-and-coming artist’s life. She’s that person: the one who knows everyone, remembers your favorite Starbucks order, and can explain the difference between marketing and manipulation in one elegant breath.

Born and raised with a deep sense of cultural pride and purpose, Ashley’s hustle is the kind that doesn’t shout — it delivers. She earned her degree in Entertainment Management from UCF (magna cum laude, of course — because she doesn’t do anything halfway), then cut her teeth at Universal Music Group, where she played a pivotal role during what she affectionately calls the “Karol G and Feid era.”

“I loved working on big releases, but I kept asking — who’s championing real artistry? Let’s shift from chasing TikTok stats to nurturing authentic talent and creative energy.” she tells me with a smile, the kind that suggests she’s already halfway through doing just that.

From Corporate to Creative Control

Some people break into the music industry to get selfies with artists backstage. Ashley broke in, sat in on boardroom meetings, and decided she wanted to rewrite the playbook. After years of working with Latin music giants like J Balvin, Juanes, and Mariah Angeliq, she pivoted — not because she had to, but because she wanted something deeper.

Enter AYP.ENT — her boutique entertainment firm where artist development doesn’t just mean press kits and Spotify playlists. It means mental health check-ins. It means understanding brand voice. It means turning raw talent into fully-formed careers. Basically, she does the job five different agencies usually fight over, and she does it with authenticity, precision, and just the right amount of lip gloss.

“There’s so much noise out there. My job is to help artists and brands figure out what their sound is — and amplify that.”

The UGC Whisperer

And while we’re talking amplification, let’s not forget her other life as a UGC (User-Generated Content) queen. Before you roll your eyes and imagine another girl dancing with a Stanley cup — pause. Ashley’s version of UGC is part strategy deck, part vibe check, and part branding bootcamp. She’s written an eBook called “Why UGC Matters,” and let me tell you — it’s not fluff. It’s a handbook for creators and brands alike who are tired of chasing trends and ready to own their voice.

“I think we’re in a moment where people can tell when you’re trying too hard,” she says. “You can’t trick people into liking you — but you can invite them into your story.”

The Story She’s Telling

Ashley’s not just building campaigns — she’s building community. Especially for Latinx creators and artists, who are often boxed in or underestimated. She’s loud about that. Not in a performative, LinkedIn-activist way, but in a real, this-artist-needs-to-be-in-the-room kind of way.

And she brings her whole self into it: Latina, strategist, empath, manager, creator, and low-key therapist when needed. Because let’s be real — artists are exhausted, brands are confused, and the algorithm changes more than your situationship’s availability.

“I care about the people I work with. I want them to succeed, but I also want them to be okay. That matters more to me than any follower count.”

Why You Want Ashley in Your Corner

Here’s the thing: anyone can make noise. Ashley makes impact. She doesn’t just help artists “get noticed.” She helps them get paid. She doesn’t just slap a filter on content — she helps brands figure out what they actually want to say.

She’s fluent in the business of culture, which means she knows what makes something “pop” — and how to make it last longer than a trending sound on Reels. Whether you’re a rising artist trying to find your voice, or a brand desperately trying not to sound like a cringe AI bot, Ashley Yodele is who you call when you’re ready to do it right.

What’s Next?

Between mentoring creators, launching new artist rollouts, and expanding AYP.ENT into something way bigger than just music, Ashley is already planning her next move. Spoiler alert: it might involve a community platform for creative women, complete with mental wellness events and honest conversations about what it really takes to survive this industry with your soul intact.

“It’s a game of chess-I learned that the hard way. You’ve got to fail a bunch before you get it right, and I’ll probably fail again. But hey, someone once told me diamonds are made under pressure.” -SP

Mission accomplished.
